State of Tennessee in Nashville seeks a dispatcher for the Safety and Homeland Security Department. This in-office role coordinates communications between field personnel and agencies, dispatches police and support services, and monitors incidents 24/7.

You will handle alerts, maintain records, and provide accurate information to responders. Requires high school diploma, U.S. citizenship, and willingness to undergo background, physical, and psychological evaluations.

Formación

• Education equivalent to graduation from a standard high school.
• Be at least eighteen (18) years of age and a U.S. citizen.
• Agree to criminal history disclosure and fingerprint checks.
• Pass physical and psychological evaluations as required.

Responsabilidades

• Monitors location/status of field personnel and dispatches units as needed.
• Operates statewide emergency teletype and radio systems and notifies agencies.
• Transmits information to appropriate agencies and personnel.
• Provides motorist and public information and directions.
• Completes required reports within set time frames.
