Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or a GED.
• Two (2) or more years of work experience with multi-faceted responsibilities.
• One (1) or more years of experience of data entry keyboard functions.

Responsibilities

• Dispatches police patrol cars and officers; maintains accurate records of patrol locations and radio dispatch logs.
• Receives and relays information to FBI, State Police, local and out-of-state agencies; performs NCIC/MILES data entry and lookups.
• Operates two-way radios, teletype, and related communications equipment; documents calls and keeps detailed records.
