Responsibilities

• Operate multi-line communications and alerting systems; determine priority and dispatch appropriate response.
• Monitor life-safety alarms and coordinate emergency responses.
• Dispatch staff by assessing location, urgency and resources; contact police and fire as needed.
• Provide information and assistance within authority; implement emergency procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain radio contact and monitor surveillance systems; document incident data.
