Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of work experience in customer service or in the public safety sector or related field, or six months experience processing emergency requests via telephone/radio.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prioritize emergency and non-emergency calls from the public using CAD.
• Dispatch appropriate public safety agencies and monitor units in the field.
• Enter and retrieve data on ACCESS systems to support law enforcement, fire, and medical services.
• Operate radio and CAD equipment and access emergency messages.
• Work rotating shifts in a 24/7 operation and adhere to training requirements.
