- Expanding Services: Both hospitals are scaling up with increasing caseloads in internal medicine and surgery. This is a prime opportunity for a dedicated Veterinary Criticalist eager to collaborate with a youthful and energetic group of specialists and ER doctors.
- State-of-the-Art Facilities: OSVS is a 36,000 sq. ft. facility offering comprehensive referral and emergency services to Rhode Island, eastern Connecticut, and southern Massachusetts. BSVESS recently relocated to a 38,000 sq. ft. building, expanding our specialty services to include radiology, cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, and exotic pet medicine. The integration of a linear accelerator and a CT scanner will spotlight medical, surgical, and radiation oncology.

About OSVS:
- Supportive Environment: Day shifts start with sit-down rounds to discuss all patients on the emergency service. Our ER clinicians, many of whom have been with us for over 10 years, continue to learn and grow every day.
- Talented Team: Our team includes specialists in surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, avian/exotics, and radiology, as well as a large group of experienced emergency clinicians.
- Brand New Dedicated ICU: Designed for efficiency, the ICU provides ample space for our medical team to work, ensuring quick access to all necessary equipment and easy monitoring of patients. The ICU includes separate isolation wards for both respiratory and GI cases, oxygen cages, quiet runs, and an ample number of cages and kennels.
- Advanced Equipment: Digital radiography, ultrasound, CT, MRI, laparoscopy, fluoroscopy, mechanical ventilation, telemetry, and state-of-the-art monitoring equipment.
- Continuing Education: We offer a well-respected rotating internship, emergency/critical care residency, emergency/surgery internship, and surgery residency. Our support staff is highly trained and enthusiastic about continuing education.
About BSVESS:
- New Facility: Recently relocated to a 36,000 sq. ft. building, offering full-time surgery, internal medicine, emergency services, and medical and radiation oncology services.

Requirements:
- Eligible to obtain a veterinary license to practice in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
- Prior mentorship or internship in emergency medicine (preferred)
