We are looking for: Emergency Veterinary Clinical Supervisor

Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 11p-8:30a, Every Other Sat/Sun 8p-8a

Responsibilities:

• Escalate issues to Clinical Manager
• Function as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within department(s)
• Collaborate with other departments regarding patient and client needs
• Prioritize and organize workflows for your shift
• Manage Clinical Services team members during your shift, including call-ins, departures, resource sharing, breaks, and responsibilities assignment
• Address process or employee issues during your shift
• Communicate schedule changes, performance concerns, and shift issues routinely to the Clinical Manager
• Serve as first responder to client concerns and drug escalations
• Train and mentor new team members
• Contribute to team performance evaluations
• Participate in on-call duties and management meetings

Who you are:

• Strong communication skills
• Veterinary experience required; emergency experience preferred
• Proficient in calculations (drugs, infusions, conversions)
• Flexible with work hours and able to work additional hours when needed
• Efficient in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
