Job summary

UMC Health System is seeking a Central Supply Technician to stock inventory and maintain supplies across hospital and campuses. Shift 3:00pm–1:00am.

You will forecast needs, replenish par levels, notify management when items are unavailable, and handle charging to department cost centers with attention to accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Clear and concise communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Good time management skills.

Job Summary

The Central Supply Technician is responsible for supplying stocked inventory items and maintaining appropriate supplies in all stocking locations throughout the UMC hospital and assigned campuses. 3:00pm - 1:00am

Job Specific Responsibilities

Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED

Skills and Abilities

Interaction with Other Departments and Other Relationships

This position has much interaction with all hospital departments

Physical Capabilities

Demands of this role will include heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, and bending. Should be able to lift up to 100 pounds and climb heights up to 8 feet. The position requires extended walking and standing on concrete surface.
