Qualifications

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) Annually.
• 1 year of relevant experience; patient care or clinical experience preferred.
• Experience acquired during certification or licensure process, military experience as medical personnel or senior clinical nursing student is also considered.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with all members of the emergency team to provide direct patient care to optimize outcomes.
• Assists the physician/nurse practitioner during procedures by providing sutures, supplies, instruments, and equipment.
• Maintains proper sterile technique during the procedure.
