Job summary

Providence Milwaukie Hospital is seeking an Emergency Technician on a 0.9 FTE full-time schedule with variable shifts across weekdays and weekends. The role supports the emergency team, assists during procedures, and ensures sterile technique to optimize patient outcomes.

You will work closely with physicians and nurse practitioners, handling sutures, supplies, and equipment while maintaining high standards of care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Prevention and Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) annually upon hire.
• At least 1 year relevant patient care or clinical experience preferred.
• Experience gained during certification/licensure process or military medical personnel considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with the emergency team.
• Assist physicians during procedures with sutures, supplies, and instruments.
• Maintain proper sterile technique during procedures.
