MUSC Health is seeking a Patient Registrar for our Freestanding Emergency Department in Florence, SC. You will greet patients, collect demographics, insurance and financial data, and ensure accurate registration to support timely care.

In this hourly, 40-hour workweek role, you will uphold HIPAA standards, assist clinicians, and deliver patient-centered service in a dynamic ED setting. High school diploma required; 0–6 months experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–6 months of work experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Register patients accurately by collecting and verifying demographic, insurance and financial information.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient privacy at all times.
• Assist clinical team and ensure timely access to care in a fast-paced Emergency/Urgent Care setting.
• Provide compassionate customer service and respond to patient inquiries as needed.
