Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required and valid driver’s license with clean record.
• CPR certification preferred; completion of ambulance driver training is advantageous.
• Experience or ability to handle care and de-escalation in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an ambulance for emergency and non-emergency calls.
• Maintain ambulance cleanliness, readiness, and stocked supplies.
• Respond promptly to dispatch and follow non-emergency vehicle protocols.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, patients, medical staff, and team members.
• Adhere to traffic laws and defensive driving practices during emergency operations.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and daily vehicle checks.
