Glick Fire Equipment Company, Inc. in Pennsylvania is seeking a Graphics Installer to join our team on a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:30am–4:00pm, alongside other customer service staff to ensure optimum efficiency and excellent service, in keeping with the values and vision of Glick Fire Equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, experience with vinyl graphics preferred, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience with 3M Vinyl products and installation preferred.
• Detail oriented with clear communication.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark up trucks with layout.
• Prepare numbers and lettering for application to trucks.
• Apply striping, numbers, and letters to the unit and emblems when provided.
• Develop efficient methods to complete work orders and track time with safety procedures.
• Follow surface preparation and cleaning instructions for quality graphics installations.
• Install graphics with precision and attention to detail.
• Care for, store, and inventory shop materials and tools.
• Greet customers promptly and respectfully.
• Collaborate with coworkers and assist where needed.

Graphics Installer Position Summary

Graphics Installer Job Responsibilities

• Measure and mark up trucks with layout
• Prepare numbers and lettering for application to trucks
• Apply striping, numbers, and letters to the unit, and when requested, customer-furnished emblems
• Develop appropriate and efficient methods to complete work orders and track time, while following proper safety procedures and wearing appropriate safety equipment
• Follow proper cleaning instructions for surface preparation to ensure quality graphics installations
• Install graphics in an efficient manner emphasizing precision, accuracy and attention to detail
• Ensure proper care, storage and inventory of shop materials and specialty tools
• Ensure customers are greeted promptly and with respect
• Develop respectful and cooperative relationships with co-workers, including a willingness to assist where needed

Graphics Installer Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Experience with 3M Vinyl products and installation is preferred
• A valid driver’s license is required
• Detail oriented and ability to communicate clearly
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and bend at the knees
• Must be a self-starter and have a high level of personal drive for success
• Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment
• Ability to take ownership and responsibility
