Canonical, the publisher of Ubuntu, seeks a Senior HR Generalist for its EMEA region. This remote-first role partners with regional and global HR leaders to deliver compliant, scalable HR operations across multiple countries.

You will drive talent development, manage performance, onboarding, engagement, and DEI initiatives while coaching managers and shaping HR policy. You will collaborate with the HRIS team and senior stakeholders, travel up to four times yearly, and operate in a fast-paced,

• Proven HR partner across regions within a technology business.
• Regional HR experience in EMEA with understanding of local labor laws.
• Experience in business partnering with senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on in daily HR operations and data-driven.
• Mentor and develop others with strong project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver precise, compliant HR operations globally and regionally.
• Collaborate with EMEA HR Manager and Global Head of HR for impact.
• Drive talent development, succession planning, onboarding, culture & engagement.
• Partner with managers on performance, org design, engagement, rewards, workforce planning.
• Coordinate with HRIS team to optimize HR processes.
• Coach managers on employee relations across multiple countries.
• Support training and development initiatives.
• Establish trusted regional partnerships and promote DEI.
• Design policies and lead global HR projects.
