Job Description:

As EMEA Material Planner you will have the opportunity to use the experience you have gained and expand it with a new one, based on the most diverse and innovative environment.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Planning of purchases of production raw materials for 3M factories located in the EMEA region
  • Analyzing demand data in terms of the demand for purchases of raw materials, control of raw material inventory to ensure continuity of production
  • Cooperation with suppliers to optimize inventory turnover and storage costs
  • Monitoring of the indicators of the timeliness of deliveries and the value of inventories, analysis and reduction of non-rotating inventory
  • Initiating and implementing optimization business improvement projects
  • Collaboration and maintaining good relationships with other departments in the organization and knowledge sharing sessions within the team

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements:

  • Experience on an independent position in the area of supply chain (preferably in a company with a production profile)
  • Experience in cooperation with suppliers and foreign teams will be additional advantage
  • Free communication in speech and writing in English
  • Experience in working with ERP systems (knowledge of SAP will be an additional advantage) and practical knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Focus on achieving set goals, speed of action and decision-making
  • Developed communication and analytical skills, good work organization
