The University of Texas at Austin is seeking an EME Building Manager for the Center for Energy and Environmental Systems Analysis (CEESA) at the Pickle Research Campus. You will oversee facility operations, safety, and coordination with UT Facilities, custodians, and vendors to ensure continuous, safe research activities.

Reporting to the CEESA Director, you will manage access control, space inventory, and safety compliance while supporting renovations and emergency preparedness across the EME

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; 3+ years supervisory experience
• Experience managing building maintenance and facilities projects
• Ability to coordinate priorities, work orders, and vendors
• Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety)

Aufgaben

• Serve as liaison with UT Facilities, custodial services, and vendors to manage EME building operations.
• Lead safety programs, lab safety compliance, and EHS coordination for the center.
• Coordinate building access, keys, and space inventory; report facility issues.
• Represent EME in renovations, outages, and coordination with internal/external stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain emergency preparedness protocols and staff training.
