Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field required.
• Eight+ years of therapy experience, with six+ years in the facility’s population preferred.
• State or national licensure for professional therapy providers required.

Responsibilities

• Apply psychotherapeutic techniques to individuals and families to treat emotional and mental disorders.
• Conduct individual, group or family therapy as part of the treatment plan.
• Perform psychosocial assessments and develop discharge plans.
• Maintain documentation of therapy services to required standards.
• Manage a caseload and participate in multidisciplinary treatment teams.
• Provide case management or discharge planning as needed; coordinate with families.
