Job summary

A leading defense contractor in Connecticut is seeking a professional for an Electromagnetic Engineering role. You will be responsible for supporting EMC, ESD, and UEM work for submarine platforms, conducting analysis and testing. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics, 5+ years of related experience, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. This position offers a hybrid work schedule with minimal travel required.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related experience in electromagnetic/electrical.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret DoD security clearance.
  • Experience with electromagnetic analysis/evaluation/modeling.

Responsibilities

  • Support EMC, ESD, and UEM work for all electrical systems on submarine platforms.
  • Conduct analysis of electromagnetic coupling and potential EMI problems.
  • Ensure integration of EMC/EMI considerations into product designs.
