Job summary

Intertek is seeking an Associate Engineer for EMC testing in Boxborough, MA. The 2nd shift role involves setting up equipment, conducting EMC evaluations, and reporting results under supervision.

Some travel may be required up to 5% and training occurs on 1st shift. The position requires an Associate's degree in engineering or equivalent experience, 2+ years in related work, and the ability to work full-time evenings.

Qualifications

• Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
• Ability to work full-time on 2nd shift (4:00pm–1:00am) and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Candidate should be able to lift up to 35 lbs and travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on- and off-site evaluation of products for EMC compliance.
• Read and interpret national codes and standards clauses relevant to EUT.
• Set up and operate test equipment and EUT, and document results.
• Follow test plans and compile test results into reports for review.
• Coordinate with senior engineers and communicate status to clients.
