Job summary

Element Plano in Plano, TX is seeking an EMC Test Technician to perform EMC and RF testing under supervision, contributing to timely and accurate results.

You will use EMI receivers, anechoic chambers, and spectrum analyzers, follow established test plans, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of test standards such as MIL-STD-461, RTCA DO160, EN 55032/35. This role requires 1–2 years in product testing and a willingness to work OT when needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of product testing with EMC testing experience.
• Proven ability to use EMC test equipment such as EMI receivers, Anechoic Chambers, Spectrum Analyzers.
• Basic knowledge of radio test standards for North America, Europe, Japan, and South Korea.
• Customer service experience.
• Willingness to work OT when needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct EMC and RF tests, set up test equipment and customer equipment, and document results.
• Follow test plans and laboratory procedures to ensure accuracy.
• Set up test equipment and follow written specifications for proper testing.
• Maintain knowledge of test standards, product procedures, and instrumentation.
• Observe, record test progress and results; organize data for each project.
