Job summary

Masimo is seeking an EMC Test Technician in Irvine, CA to conduct electromagnetic compatibility testing in our in-house EMC lab, supporting pre-compliance and formal testing for our medical devices. The role is on-site and reports to the EMC Lab Manager in Hardware Engineering.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree with 3+ years of EMC testing experience, including developing test procedures and preparing technical reports.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in EMC testing and test report preparation.
• Familiar with IEC 60601-1-2, CISPR, IEC 61000-4, and related EMC standards.
• Experience with EMC test software such as TDK Lab, TILE, EMC32, or BAT-EMC.

Responsibilities

• Perform RF immunity and emissions testing per EMC plans and standards.
• Prepare and organize EMC test reports and procedures.
• Collaborate with design engineers to troubleshoot failures and support corrective actions.
