Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an EMC/EMI Test Technician (2nd shift) to support the E3 team in conducting EMC/EMI emission and immunity testing on electronics and subsystems for Starlink hardware. The role involves operating spectrum analyzers, VNAs, power meters, amplifiers, and oscilloscopes, reading controlled documentation, and documenting results with precision.

Requirements include an Associate degree in electronics or 2+ years in electronics testing, plus 2+ years of EMC testing.

Qualifications

Associate degree in electronics or 2+ years of direct electronics work experience.
2+ years of experience testing consumer electronics or electrical hardware.
2+ years of experience with EMC testing.

Responsibilities

Perform EMC/EMI emission and immunity testing of electrical systems and components.
Read, interpret, and work from controlled documentation and processes.
Operate a spectrum analyzer, VNA, power meter, high-power amplifier, and oscilloscope.
Independently perform verifications and document results clearly and precisely.
Troubleshoot complex problems independently with minimal direction.
Support engineers and test management with standardized testing and R&D projects.
Maintain test equipment and test facilities and oversee calibration processes.
