• Familiarity with payer processes, CPT/ICD coding basics, and electronic clearinghouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Review, correct, and update billing encounters using RCx Rules, Waystar, and NextGen.
• Submit primary, secondary, and ancillary claims via EMC/EDI files to clearinghouses.
• Run pre-bill reports and daily edits to ensure coding accuracy and billing compliance.
• Address clearinghouse rejections and system errors promptly using NextGen tasking.
• Maintain accurate provider master records and clean claim data.
