Responsibilities
  • Join a team of anthologists, embryologists, and fertility healthcare providers with a successful teamwork record.
  • Manage daily operations of the embryology lab segment, including all human IVF procedures.
  • Perform reproductive hormone testing, andrology testing, and therapeutic procedures (training provided).
  • Participate in QM/QC/QA/QI laboratory programs.
  • Conduct all embryology procedures such as oocyte retrieval, ICSI, vitrification, thawing, and embryo transfer.
  • Handle endocrine testing, andrology diagnostics, and therapeutics.
  • Follow lab SOPs, apply high reliability principles, and collaborate with clinic staff to improve patient care, safety, and workflows.
  • Report directly to the Lab Manager/Laboratory Director.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in biological or related sciences.
  • Proven knowledge in reproductive science, experience with human gametes and embryos, and competence in procedures like oocyte retrieval, vitrification, thawing, insemination, ICSI, and embryo grading.
  • Ability to adhere to lab policies and procedures.
  • Attention to detail, coordination skills, quick learner, good documentation, communication skills, and ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Participation in quality data management.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Eligibility to work in the US; visa sponsorship not available.
Desired Qualifications

Four years of direct clinical embryology experience, with competence in all embryology procedures including ICSI, embryo biopsy, vitrification, and thawing.

Work Schedule

Includes weekend and holiday rotations with colleagues.

Union Affiliation

Covered under the collective bargaining agreement with U-M and UMMAP.

Background Screening

Includes background checks and pre-employment drug testing.
