Job summary

CLS Connect in Orlando is seeking an experienced individual for an Embryology lab role. The position offers a salary range of $130,000 – $150,000 full-time and on-site, with responsibilities including quality control, embryo transfers, and staff supervision.

Successful candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree and possess at least five years of relevant experience. The role requires thorough knowledge of laboratory processes and effective communication with patients regarding PGT reports.

Qualifications

• Experience with ICSI and conventional fertilization techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily quality control and media preparation.

Full-Time | Direct-Hire | On-site Salary: $130,000 – $150,000

8am–5pm Monday–Friday (with occasional Saturday rotations)

Education/Experience:

A bachelor’s degree in a chemical, biological, clinical, medical, or reproductive laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution is required. Minimum 5 years of experience in an Embryology lab is required.

Required Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Daily quality control, medial preparation, and dish preparation.
2. Have a well-developed understanding of all aspects of running an Embryology lab, including but not limited to: equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, QC/QA/QM/QI.
3. Use of lab equipment to complete procedures: balance, pH meter, CO2 monitor, labeler, etc.
4. Completion of Oocyte retrieval and denuding of oocytes.
5. Embryo and oocyte thawing/embryo and oocyte freezing.
6. Fertilization checks and embryo transfers.
7. ICSI and conventional fertilization techniques.
8. Schedule procedures, complete requested tasks, and navigate patient charts.
9. Understanding of cryopreservation and storage of specimens.
10. Perform PGT and loading samples.
11. Must be able to interpret the PGT report and call patients to relay.
12. Successfully perform PESA/TESE.
13. Supervisor of embryology staff, including overseeing PTO, scheduling staff, and ordering equipment for the lab.
14. Participate in all required training.
