Threads Uniform Agency is seeking an Embroidery Specialist to operate and maintain embroidery machines and ensure designs meet customer specifications. You will receive garments, hoop, set colors, monitor runs, and perform QC checks.

The role emphasizes teamwork, diligence, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Prior sewing or embroidery experience is a plus but not required; a positive can-do attitude is valued.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience in sewing or embroidery is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to read and follow purchase orders and instructions.
  • Detail-oriented with a sense of urgency and organization.

Responsibilities

  • Receives garments, checks in to embroidery, unwraps and prepares for hooping or machines.
  • Reads purchase orders for logo placement and colors.
  • Sets hoops with correct backing and pre-checks garments before embroidery.
  • Operates embroidery machines and manages thread colors, traces, and designs.
  • Monitors runs, fixes thread breaks, trims, and changes needles/bobbins when needed.
  • Maintains and cleans embroidery machines; performs basic maintenance.
  • Performs QC checks and finishes orders as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
