Job Description:

The Embroidery Technician Assistant will support our embroidery operations by managing customer orders, providing exceptional service, marking and hooping products, and assisting in the operation of embroidery machines. We provide comprehensive training for the right candidate, so previous embroidery experience is unnecessary. We are looking for someone enthusiastic about learning and quick to pick up new skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Management: Process and track customer orders from receipt to completion, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Customer Service: Communicate with clients to address inquiries, provide updates, and resolve any issues related to their orders.

Product Preparation: Mark and prepare products for embroidery, including hooping items and ensuring they are correctly positioned for machine operation.

Machine Operation: Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of embroidery machines; learn and apply embroidery techniques under the guidance of senior staff.

Training: Participate in training sessions to become proficient in embroidery machine operation and shop procedures.

Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed to meet company standards.

Qualifications:

Experience: No prior experience is required; we will provide training. A strong willingness to learn and adapt is essential.

Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Technical Aptitude: Basic familiarity with technology is a plus, but not required. Must be motivated to learn new skills and technologies.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move products, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

Preferred Skills but not Required:

Experience with computerized embroidery machines and software.

Familiarity with different types of fabrics and threads.

Ability to perform basic machine repairs and maintenance.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
