Job summary

Underground Printing (UGP) in Ypsilanti, MI seeks an Embroidery Machine Operator to join our production team. This entry-level role involves operating Tajima embroidery machines to produce customized garments in a high-output setting, with on-the-job training provided.

The position offers a first shift from 3:00PM to 11:00PM, paid training, and opportunities for raises and advancement. Full-time team members receive ten days of PTO, seven holidays, a 401(k) with 4% employer match, a 40% employee

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Google Apps.
• Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator CS3+ and Adobe Photoshop CS3+ is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate Tajima embroidery machines to produce custom decorated garments in a high-output environment.
• Work in a deadline-driven production schedule; this is not a design position.
• Follow on‑the‑job training and contribute to meeting daily production goals.
