Job summary

Vanguard Conversion and Fulfillment (VCF), a GroupeSTAHL company, is seeking an Embroidery Machine Operator for the 3rd shift (11:00PM–7:30AM) in Chesterfield, MO. You will set up, operate and maintain commercial embroidery machines to produce decorated garments with high quality and consistency.

Responsibilities include reviewing work orders, loading designs, adjusting thread, stabilizers and hooping, inspecting finished items, and keeping workstations organized while following safety and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous embroidery/garment decoration experience preferred but not required (training available).
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot embroidery equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders and designs to determine embroidery requirements.
• Choose hoop size and stabilizer; hoop garments with proper tension.
• Load threads and colors; thread machines per job order.
• Load designs and verify color and design accuracy.
• Run machines to produce sew-outs; monitor for quality issues.
• Adjust tension, presser foot, and hoop alignment as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance: needles, cleaning, oiling.
• Inspect finished items for quality and accuracy.
• Keep garments and workstations organized for smooth production.
• Follow safety, quality and production standards.
• Assist with other decoration processes (heat press, DTF, DTG).
