Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Selecting the thread, fabric, hoops, and designs appropriate to each project. Brother and Babylock machines — let us know if you've run these before.
  • Setting up machines and supervising the embroidery process.
  • Performing regular machine and inventory inspections and reporting any issues or reordering stock as required.
  • It is required to be accurate and consistent in placement of designs on products.
  • Inspect work performed by yourself and other team members for quality and accuracy.
  • Lift and move boxes, bags, product.
  • Fold, unfold, pack and label products accurately.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Hours start lighter during training and increase up to 8 hours as you get up to speed.
  • Other odd jobs will be required as needed. Everyone is expected to work as team for the greater good of the company.
Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail. We have a lot of orders coming through and the ability to recognize an error or mistake in your work is a must.
  • No experience needed — we'll train the right person.
Other qualifications that would be helpful:
  • Previous experience with Brother or Babylock machines — even just running one at home or in a previous job.
  • Basic understanding of different fabric types and how they react to stitching (stretch fabrics, thick materials, delicate items).
  • Familiarity with different stabilizers and backing — when to use cutaway vs. tearaway
  • Experience changing needles, bobbins, and troubleshooting common machine issues like thread breaks or tension problems.
  • Knowledge of digitizing or design file formats (even just knowing what PES, DST, or EXP files are).
  • Comfort with basic math — measuring placement, centering designs, working with inches and fractions.
  • Previous production or manufacturing experience where speed and accuracy both mattered.
  • A track record of showing up on time, every day. Reliability is huge for us.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple tasks throughout the day — watching machines while folding, inspecting, and packing.
  • Comfortable transferring files on a computer — you'll need to move design files from our system to the machines without losing or misplacing anything. Being organized with digital files is just as important as being organized with physical products.

  • Possesses excellent attention to detail.
  • Must be a quick learner.
  • Take and follow instructions well from supervisors.
