The Embroidery Digitizing Specialist will efficiently and effectively resolve all inbound digitizing and in-process requests. This role will assist customers in selecting the best technique to achieve desired results. The Embroidery Digitizing Specialist will ensure a positive customer service experience for all customers and ensure the quality standards of Peter Millar and G/FORE are met.

Essential Functions
  • Review and assess new digitizing requests, suggesting techniques and sizing, to provide customers with the highest quality embroidery.
  • Analyze and distribute digitizing workload in-house and amongst contractors to meet or exceed SLA’s.
  • Monitor inbound files from contractors for quality control, making sure all requirements are met.
  • Warehouse all designs on a shared network and accurately update statuses through approval workflows.
  • Proactively manage order updates as designs are approved or deactivated.
  • Provide oversight to orders pending new logo approval, administer outreach to facilitate the approval process, and escalat*e* delays to Account Managers.
  • Track, monitor, and resolve all digitizing related issues.
  • Color and distribute work orders as needed.
  • Identify and participate in process improvements efforts.
  • Support the development and maintenance of Embroidery Team SOP’s.

  • Thorough understanding of digitizing and embroidery concepts.
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills, to include Microsoft Office products; must be proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.
Desired Education And Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in textiles or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in digitizing embroidery designs.
  • Experience with Wilcom or comparable digitizing software.
