Job summary

Witmer Public Safety Group in Coatesville, PA seeks a Production Graphic Artist to create embroidery artwork per customer specs, digitize designs, and translate orders into stitches and vector files. On-site role with regular daytime hours.

The candidate will use Illustrator/Corel/Wilcom tools, collaborate with sales, and ensure proofs satisfy customers before production. Prior embroidery or graphic design experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Graphic Arts & Design Certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of design experience preferred; internships/co-ops may be considered.
• Graphic design skills and knowledge of Illustrator/Corel Draw/Wilcom Embroidery Studio required.
• Experience in digitizing content preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while adjusting priorities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Outlook).
• Knowledge of fabrics, colors and textiles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use 2 embroidery programs to produce personalized embroidery graphics and custom appliqué graphics according to customer specifications.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator for creating custom logos and graphics.
• Interpret work orders and translate them into embroidery stitches, patterns and cut files.
• Program embroidery machines and test correctness and quality of each design.
• Match the product description on the order to the supplied material.
• Communicate with internal staff to facilitate artwork approval.
• Decipher and match colors.
• Work with sales team and customers on custom design orders; ensure proofs meet customer expectations before production.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties or projects as assigned by management.
