Job summary

NRI is seeking an embroidery digitizing specialist to transform logos, artwork, and designs into stitch-ready files for our embroidery machines. You will bridge design and production, ensuring accuracy and aesthetic quality while meeting deadlines.

Based in Fontana, CA, this on-site role requires familiarity with Wilcom, Pulse, and other software, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple projects and physical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in embroidery digitizing and machine operation.
• Proficiency in embroidery software (Wilcom, Pulse, Bernina, etc.).
• Strong understanding of stitch types, densities, and fabric behavior.
• Ability to interpret and modify vector and raster files (AI, PNG, JPG, SVG).
• Keen eye for detail and aesthetics in design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Digitize logos, artwork, and designs using embroidery software.
• Convert customer files into stitch-ready formats.
• Optimize designs for fabrics and machine capabilities.
• Collaborate with clients or teams to interpret needs and provide solutions.
• Run tests on embroidery machines and adjust outputs for quality.
• Maintain a digital library of embroidery files and documentation.
• Assist with billing according to stitches and counts.
• Stay updated on design trends and embroidery techniques.
