West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking an Embraer Aircraft Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Chattanooga, TN. The role involves diagnosing and repairing aircraft systems, performing inspections, and supporting maintenance on civilian aircraft.

Qualifications

• Airframe or Powerplant license is required; Airframe license is preferred.
• 0-2 years of aviation maintenance experience for AMT I.
• 2-4 years of aviation maintenance experience for AMT II.
• 4-6+ years of aviation maintenance experience for AMT III.
• 6+ years of aviation maintenance experience for AMT IV Master.
• Ability to perform tasks under supervision and adhere to deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot aircraft system and component issues.
• De-fuel aircraft and assist in engine removals/installations.
• Operate ground support equipment and inspect aircraft.
• Maintain shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Navigate electronic training, manuals and maintenance databases.
• Communicate effectively in English.
