Job summary

BlueScope Coated Products in Ohio is seeking an Emboss Line operator on first shift (5:45am–6:00pm). Responsibilities include processing quality hold coils, embossing with cassette, preparing coils for packaging, operating an overhead crane and forklift, recording data in Oracle, and operating a leveler unit.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, at least 1 year manufacturing experience, basic tools knowledge, and the ability to pass background checks and drug testing.

Qualifications

• One year of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Preferred: 6+ months of experience operating mobile equipment.

Responsibilities

• Process quality hold coils to resolve potential defects.
• Emboss finished coils using the emboss cassette.
• Prepare finished goods coils for packaging.
• Operate an overhead crane and forklift.
• Enter coil data into Oracle and produce coil identification tags.
• Operate a leveler unit.
