Who We Are:

The Meritage Resort and Spa, named one of the "Top Resorts in Northern California" by Condé Nast Traveler, offers a luxurious Napa Valley experience amidst scenic rolling hills. Our resort features 467 rooms, including 51 suites, with amenities such as award-winning cuisine, spa treatments in an underground Estate Cave, tasting rooms, a locally sourced artisanal market, and a spacious community lawn for various activities. We are dedicated to providing exceptional hospitality and are looking for passionate team members to join us.

Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare food items such as salads, soups, sauces, meats, and vegetables according to prescribed recipes and guidelines.
  2. Butcher chicken, fish, and shellfish.
  3. Read menu to estimate food requirements and requisition food from storage.
Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of prior food preparation experience; culinary degree or training preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of food preparation, professional cooking, and knife handling skills.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions, recipes, short correspondence, and memos.
Compensation and Benefits:

The expected hourly rate is $20.75. The company reserves the right to modify this range at any time. Full-time team members are eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k), educational reimbursement, and paid time off, including vacation and sick leave.
