Job summary

Bot Auto is seeking a VCU Software Engineer to design, implement, and validate embedded software for vehicle control systems. You will work across requirements, architecture, model-based development, and AUTOSAR integration in a production-grade environment.

The role requires strong C/C++ skills, MATLAB/Simulink experience, and hands-on debugging across simulation, bench, and vehicle environments with a focus on safety-critical real-time software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Experience delivering embedded software for automotive/robotics or safety-critical real-time products.
• Strong embedded C/C++ skills with real-time constraints and hardware interfaces.
• Proficient with MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow for model-based design.
• Solid understanding of vehicle control concepts, fault detection, and safety mechanisms.
• Experience with CAN/CAN-FD, UDS, XCP, or similar protocols.

Responsibilities

• Own the VCU software lifecycle from requirements through validation, release, and field support.
• Define and maintain system and software requirements, interfaces, and state machines.
• Develop and optimize VCU application software using MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow and embedded C/C++.
• Integrate application software with AUTOSAR Classic components and layers, including RTE/BSW/MCAL.
• Perform code and model reviews, timing and memory analysis, and performance optimization.
