Job summary

Cts Technology Solutions, Inc. in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Computer Systems Engineer with 5–9 years of experience to support the development and integration of space payload emulators.

This role involves hands-on hardware/software work with Xilinx SoC/MPSoC platforms and front-end control interfaces. You will collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams in a lab environment, lead end-to-end bring-up, develop BSPs, device drivers, and GUI dashboards to enable real-time monitoring

Qualifications

• 5–9 years in embedded hardware/software development and integration.
• Hands-on experience with Xilinx SoC/MPSoC (Zynq UltraScale+, Versal).
• Proficiency with Xilinx toolchains: Vivado, Vitis, PetaLinux, SDK.
• Experience with PS/PL integration, embedded Linux/RTOS, and device drivers.
• Frontend development using Java (JavaFX/Swing) or JavaScript (React, Node, Vue, Electron).

Responsibilities

• Integrate embedded software and firmware on Xilinx platforms.
• Develop, configure, and maintain BSPs, device drivers, and low-level interfaces.
• Lead lab bring-up and end-to-end emulator testing in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Design GUIs using Java or modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and test teams to validate emulator functionality.
• Use lab equipment for debugging and validation of hardware/software integration.
