Job summary
Magna-Power Electronics, a Flemington, New Jersey based electronics manufacturer, is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to design and integrate control architectures for multi-kilowatt programmable DC power supplies. You will drive the full development lifecycle from modeling advanced control algorithms to implementing firmware and validating HV hardware.
You will work on real-time power conversion, HIL validation, and ensure regulatory compliance (UL/IEC/CE) while collaborating with
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering required; MS preferred.
- 5+ years in power electronics engineering, switching converter design.
- Proficient in MATLAB/Simulink for control modeling and code generation.
- Bare-metal C programming for TI C2000 or equivalent MCUs.
- Experience with Altium, PCB bring-up, and lab protocols (SCPI, Python).
Responsibilities
- Develop and tune high-bandwidth closed-loop control models for real-time power conversion.
- Architect and implement deterministic bare-metal firmware for TI C2000 MCUs.
