X-Rite Pantone, a Veralto company, is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer (C++) to design and develop embedded platforms powering advanced optical and measurement devices. You’ll work at the intersection of hardware and software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing embedded products from concept through production.
• Strong embedded C/C++ development and real-time systems expertise.
• Experience with embedded Linux platforms.
• Knowledge of microcontroller-based system design and development.
• Experience integrating sensors, signal processing, and power management.
• Familiarity with Git, Jira, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded firmware and electronics for advanced measurement systems.
• Create and maintain performance-critical C++ software for embedded Linux environments.
• Develop low-level drivers and hardware interface components.
• Build and execute automated unit and integration tests within CI/CD environments.
• Apply secure development principles and Security-by-Design practices.
• Support hardware lifecycle management, including component replacement and BSP/driver updates.
• Maintain and enhance existing embedded Linux and bare-metal firmware platforms.
• Analyze complex technical issues, troubleshoot system behavior, and drive continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Product Development, Project Management, and technical leaders around the globe.
