Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to shape the next generation of HVAC products, from concept and system architecture through integration and validation.

You’ll define requirements, manage traceability, and collaborate with hardware, software, and test teams to deliver reliable, compliant solutions on a 12-month contract with ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.
• Experience in Systems Engineering or MBSE.
• Background in HVAC, automotive, rail, aerospace, energy systems, or similar industries.
• Experience with system requirements development and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage system and subsystem requirements using INCOSE principles.
• Develop functional specifications, interface requirements, and control logic.
• Ensure requirements are clear, traceable, and validated throughout the lifecycle.
• Partner with hardware, software, controls, and test teams to drive integration.
• Support system integration, testing, and validation activities.
