Job summary

Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is seeking Graduate Research Assistants to support teams performing embedded system cybersecurity testing starting in Spring 2027. You will analyze complex problems, create high-level diagrams, and develop scripts to support testing on embedded devices such as radios and modems.

Strong communication skills are essential. Applicants should be enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program (Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science), be full-time students

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Must be enrolled full-time (12+ credit hours).
• Must have a 3.0+ cumulative GPA.
• Commit to 15-20 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities

• Support embedded systems cybersecurity testing projects.
• Create high-level block diagrams and custom scripts for testing.
• Analyze large problems and break them into smaller tasks.
• Communicate technical ideas clearly, in writing.
