Job summary

People Consultancy Services (PCS) is seeking an experienced embedded software leader in the Bethlehem area. The role focuses on C/C++ development for STM32/ARM on RTOS, with emphasis on functional safety and cybersecurity in energy/EV contexts.

You will define architectures, lead verification, and coordinate with hardware, cloud, and product teams to deliver robust battery and energy management systems.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree and 9 years embedded software experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ on embedded targets.
• Experience with STM32/ARM, RTOS, and TI C28x / TMS320.
• Experience in cybersecurity for industrial/energy systems and product certification.
• Ability to lead embedded software development teams and collaborate with cross-functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture and firmware design strategy.
• Develop low-level drivers, middleware, stacks and applications.
• Perform board bring-up, peripheral integration, debugging and optimization.
• Support SCADA, EMS, cloud platforms and monitoring systems integration.
• Ensure traceability, version control, and releases; work with hardware, systems, cloud, test, and product management teams.

Job description

B.S degree with 9 years experience in c/c++ , stm32 , arm , rtos and must have ti c28x (tms320) / tidsp

experience with matlab/simulink , functional safety , renewable energy / ev charging / ups prefered

experience with cybersecurity implementation to industrial / energy systems and supporting product certification and regulatory audits prefered

lead embedded software development team to bess products and platforms prefered

develop firmware to battery management systems / energy management systems , battery controllers and power conversion and monitoring systems prefered

define system architecture, firmware design strategy, coding and development , technical designs, source code, and validation

develop low-level drivers, middleware, stacks and application software, perform board bring-up, peripheral integration, debugging, and optimization prefered

experience in communication protocols such as can , modbus / uart / spi / ethernet

support integration with scada, ems, cloud platforms, and monitoring systems

define firmware verification and validation and support system testing

ensure traceability, version control, and release and work with hardware, systems, cloud, test, and product management teams , support customer design audits
