Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Product Line Leader in Grand Rapids, MI, hybrid. You will lead Platform Software for ACE, interfacing with customers and internal teams, guiding complex embedded programs through development, verification, and DO-178C certification.

Initial focus on KC-46 FMC Refresh and C-130J FMC Refresh programs. You will shape the ACE product line roadmap, drive execution across programs, and mentor sub-team leads while coordinating with global suppliers to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electrical/Software Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of embedded real-time software experience.
• 10+ years leading software engineering across full lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead Platform Software teams across GE Aerospace and suppliers.
• Serve as the primary engineering contact for customers and stakeholders.
• Own and evolve the ACE product line roadmap for reuse and scalability.
• Drive program execution across schedule, cost, scope, risk, and quality.
• Coordinate with Systems, Hardware, Safety, Security, Certification, Sourcing, and Program Management.
• Provide technical oversight across requirements, design, implementation, verification, and certification.
• Lead supplier coordination to ensure alignment and delivery performance.
• Provide regular status, metrics, and risk visibility to leadership.
