L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Intern, Software Engineering to support embedded software development in Salt Lake City. You will work with hardware and software teams to meet real-time performance and interface requirements for advanced tactical radio equipment.

The role involves participating in all phases of the software life cycle, creating test procedures and documentation, and using languages such as C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, HTML5, XML, SQL and Python on multiple platforms.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD in a relevant technical field at an accredited university.
• Strong programming exposure across multiple languages and platforms.
• Background or interest in embedded/real-time software for hardware systems.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to software development for embedded real-time systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design interfaces between hardware and software.
• Assist in requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration and testing.
