Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Intern, Software Engineering for an embedded real-time role in Melbourne, FL. You will apply CS, engineering, and math concepts to develop software for a target application and work with cross-functional teams on hardware-software interfaces.

Responsibilities include contributing to all phases of the SDLC, developing test procedures, and using languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Ruby, and more across Windows, Linux, and RTOS environments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field.
• Familiarity with listed languages and platforms is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Apply CS, engineering, and math concepts to develop software for the target application.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to design interfaces between hardware and software.
• Support all phases of the software development life cycle for embedded real-time software.
• Develop test procedures and documentation for software.
• Use modeling tools to establish operating data and conduct tests.
• Participate in peer reviews and fix defects.
• Work with Windows, Linux, mobile, and embedded RTOS environments.

Education

Pursuing Bachelor's/Master’s/PhD in CS/CE/SE/EE/Wireless/InfoSec/Math/Digital Arts & Sciences or related field
