Ciena is seeking a WaveLogic Software Intern to gain hands-on experience with next-generation optical networking technologies. You will contribute to developing, validating, and improving software for network solutions while building expertise in optical transport and switching.

You will work with experienced teams to troubleshoot embedded software issues, design and test modem technologies, and document advanced networking features for service provider networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience with C/C++ programming; knowledge of embedded systems and Linux/RTOS.
• Ability to learn independently and communicate clearly in writing.

Responsabilités

• Develop understanding of next-generation network solutions using optical transport and switching.
• Develop embedded software to design, validate, and document networking features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve embedded software issues by diagnosing defects and applying fixes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test modem technologies.
