Job summary

The Toro Company in Bloomington, Minnesota, offers a 2027 Summer Internship Program from May 17 to August 6. You will work on projects with our Commercial Products software engineering team, guided by a mentor, and gain hands-on experience in embedded systems development.

Requirements include enrollment in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science, a minimum 3.2 GPA, sophomore standing, and programming experience in C or C#, with Python, C++, JSON, and CAN bus knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an educational program during the internship.
• Majoring in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science – embedded systems focus.
• Minimum 3.2 GPA.
• Sophomore year in college or higher.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects with our Commercial Products software engineering team.
• Have a mentor to guide your project and resources.
• Build/test in-house tools for the development team.
• Conduct data analysis of collected field data.
