- Become familiar with the USB protocol stack and implementation
- Help develop new embedded audio platform functionality
- Help diagnose and root cause field issues and bugs
- Develop new features and update code in C/C++
- Develop scripts, testing frameworks, and utility code in C/Python
- Participate in code and requirements reviews
- Work with DSP, systems engineering, and hardware engineering teams to facilitate development and understanding
- Assist with maintaining and developing embedded audio platform firmware and USB-based microphone and conferencing ecosystem
- Analyze field issues and collaborate across divisions to develop new features and designs
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Must have experience programming in C/C++
- Experience with Python and ARM assembly language a plus
- Experience with communication protocols including USB, I2S, I2C, UART a plus
- Experience with real-time operating systems and embedded hardware/microcontrollers a plus
- Experience reading hardware schematics and product datasheets a plus
- Recommended to have taken a lab based embedded design/robotics/programming course
- Familiarity with programming and debugging microcontrollers
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
