The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development, particularly in embedded and Linux-based systems.

This role requires proficiency in C, C++, and Python, along with leadership experience. Responsibilities include overseeing multiple projects and acting as a liaison between software, program management, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• Experience in technical leadership or team lead roles preferred.
• Hands-on experience with ArduPilot or PX4 frameworks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary software engineering group responsible for embedded software development.
• Manage team workload and performance across multiple programs.
• Interface with Flight Test and Systems Engineering teams.

Skills

Proficiency in C/C++

Understanding of embedded systems

Experience with ROS and Docker

Knowledge of communication protocols

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
