Global Business Ser. 4u seeks an Embedded Software Engineer 2 to design and implement software for embedded devices, from requirements to deployment. You will work on BLE, NB‑IoT, and Ethernet/TCP‑IP enabled systems, and contribute to safety‑critical features in a fast‑paced environment.

The role requires 2–4 years of related experience, scripting in Python and Bash, and knowledge of CAN/J1939 networks. Hybrid onsite work in Mossville, IL is offered with potential for a contract/permanent

Qualificações

• BSEE, BSCE or BSCS degree required.
• 2 years experience developing software feature requirements/specs.
• 1 year wireless communications (BLE, Cellular, NB-IoT) in industrial apps.
• 1 year scripting with Python and Linux Bash.
• 1 year Ethernet/TCP/IP/Wi‑Fi plus Wireshark analysis.
• 1 year CAN/J1939 and data link protocols.
• Desire: Agile team environment.
• Desire: CANoe/CANalyzer experience.
• Desire: Embedded cyber security.
• Desire: Read electrical schematics.

Job Responsibilities

Requirements for this role:

• Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment for product lines.
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
• Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources.
• Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.

Education & Experience Required

BSEE, BSCE, or BSCS. College graduates with applicable 2-4 years' experience in projects/internships will be considered but not at max bill rate.

Technical Skills

• BSEE, BSCE, or BSCS
• 2 years of experience with developing requirements and/or specifications for software features.
• 1 year of experience in wireless communications such as BLE, Cellular, and NB IoT in machine or industrial applications.
• 1 year of experience developing scripts using scripting languages such as Python & Linux Bash.
• 1 year of experience with Ethernet, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, and analysis tools such as Wireshark.
